The offer of financial incentives to Islamists preachers to marry and to convert orang asli is an added twist to an old story. During the Mustapha era, land and cash incentives were given to the indigenous people of Sabah after being coerced into renouncing their religion. This had the immediate effect of widening the Muslim voter base and thus ensuring their political domination.
In Kelantan, this method of conversion is but another phase in the Islamist arsenal where bedroom jihad is being use "to bringing the infidels to their knees through an explosion in the Muslim population". Interestingly, it is the perpetrators of this state sanction rape of the orang asli who will gain financially while their 3^rd class converts remain financially and economically marginalised.
The rights of the orang asli are now being treated as a cheap commodity to be bought and the government of the day has chosen to remain quiet. But again, do we hear any protest from the so call “socialist-moderate” based Muslim opposition parties? Dark forces are gathering and it’s influences are strong.

KELANTAN will offer RM10,000 to each Muslim preacher who marries an orang asli woman and naturally converts her as part of renewed efforts to propagate Islam among the 3,000-odd community in the state.
State Religious Affairs committee chairman Hassan Mahamood (PAS – Tawang) said the same incentive was applicable if the preacher was a Muslim woman who took an orang asli husband.
Asked if the preacher may court the orang asli as a second or third wife, Hassan said it depended on the individual.
Besides the monetary incentive, the preachers would also receive free accommodation, a four-wheel-drive vehicle and a fixed monthly allowance of RM1,000.
On criminal activities and social ills among youths, Hassan said these were due to the influence of the western media.
“Crime can only be controlled through the Syariah Criminal Procedure Code,” he said.

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said Hamas had given qualified approval for the release of an Israeli soldier kidnapped by Palestinian militants, Egypt's al-Ahram newspaper reported on Friday.

But Mubarak, speaking in an interview with the flagship Egyptian newspaper, said agreement on a release had not yet been reached with Israel.
